We hope you
have all enjoyed your Summer and have participated in the Summer 7’s
Tournaments. The Dixon Rugby Football Club’s (DRFC) 2015 Season is right around
for the 2015 Season has begun. We understand that financially it can be
difficult to pay for the season all at once, so we have worked together with
the board to help families plan ahead so there is no delay in getting gear or
being released to play.
Payments are being accepted on line starting September 2014 $25
(total of 10 payments needed before January 12, 2015) $50
(total of 5 payments needed before January 12, 2015) $125
(total of 2 payments needed before January 12, 2015) Payments
are also being accepted at the Rugby Office Starting September 2014 Cash
and Check are accepted – please include player name, player age and a contact
Opportunities Each player will be required to
participate in all of the fundraisers and parents will be required to
participate in at least one of the fundraising events. For the dinner/raffle fundraisers, any
additional tickets sold, beyond the minimum pre-set number, the player will
receive a credit to their rugby account of 50% of the value of the additional
tickets sold. This amount offsets dues, travel
expenses or additional items.
There is will only be one fundraiser before the annual dues is required to be
turned in. Please plan accordingly. Scholarships 5
scholarships will be awarded this year. Scholarships
will be approved by the Scholarship Committee and the Board. Scholarship
application and player essay must be turned in to the Rugby Office Attention
Scholarship Committee no later than December 1, 2014 – No Late Applications Will Be Accepted
fees are all due in full this year by January 12th 2015. Players
will not be able to participate in tournaments or the normal match schedule
until all fees have been paid.
